One of our tried-and-true dining recommendations at Disney is River Belle Terrace. This charming sit-down restaurant in Frontierland offers delicious Southern-inspired cuisine with beautiful views of the Rivers of America.

Why You Should Dine at River Belle Terrace
This is one of Disney’s signature table-service restaurants, it provides comfort food with that classic Disney charm. We absolutely love eating here because it gives us a cozy break on cold winter park day. I absolutely love that reservations are easy to find and make on the Disney app. If you opt to eat outside, you’ll have great views of the Mark Twain Riverboat.
This restaurant also provides an ideal location in Frontierland. It’s close to attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Haunted Mansion. These are usually the rides we squeeze in before or after our meal, so it really offers the perfect rest break.
Menu Highlights
If you browse through the blog, you’ll see that this isn’t our first time dining here. As magic key holders, this is one of our favorite places to get table-service at because the food is really good and worth the price. Adults 21 and over can also order a mocktail or specialty cocktail here.
When we dined here in January it was such a cold day! When we were sat at our table indoors, we knew the first thing we’d order would by a cup of freshly brewed Joffrey’s coffee. I was surprised to see that they gave us disposable cups for our coffee but it didn’t bother me at all. In fact, it was a total perk because we now had a cup of coffee to enjoy on our way out of the restaurant. Perfect for parents that need that midday or afternoon energy boost to power through a day at the park with kids.
Here are some of my top reasons that make this restaurant a great option for lunch:
- Brunch is available which means you can still order breakfast for lunch.
- Table service is available.
- Cozy setting on a cold or rainy day.
- Coffee and tea is served to go, great option for parents!
All the options we had above were entrees and they were so filling, we didn’t have room for dessert.
I would rate our meals a solid 4/5.
What’s the Best Time to Visit River Belle Terrace?
Whenever you are planning a day at Disneyland it’s always best to plan ahead, here are some helpful tips:
Make a Reservation – This is especially recommended for peak times like lunch and Dinner.
Walk-Up Availability – If you don’t have a reservation, you may find luck by checking their same day walk up availability. We’ve had experience finding last-minute openings on several of our visits.
