The Los Angeles Rams Training Camp is a summer tradition that our family can’t resist. Year after year, we look forward to watching the players practice and getting an inside look at what it takes to make it to the NFL. It’s a chance for us to bond as a family while enjoying the beautiful weather and exciting atmosphere. We began this tradition the very first year that the Ram’s returned to Los Angeles. We were so lucky, we thought, their training camp will be in Irvine located in Orange County a quick drive from where we live. My husband has been a huge fan since he was a boy so witnessing his team return was a huge win. Such a huge win that he decided season tickets were a must for us! Huge investment, I know. As our family grew from just us two in 2019 to welcome our daughter, we’ve included her in this yearly summer tradition. We’ll show you what we do to make it an enjoyable experience for all.
Securing Your Tickets
The fantastic thing about training camp is that it’s open to the public at no cost. As season ticket holders, we do have a few perks; however, anyone wishing to visit training camp is welcome and able to attend. You simply have to register for tickets online.
Family Fun
Training Camp is more than just a fun activity for us. It’s a chance to see our favorite players up close and personal, and to witness their hard work and dedication to the game. It’s a reminder that anything is possible with determination and perseverance. It lets us preview what the team will bring in the upcoming season. Dad enjoys every minute of it, but mommy and daughter, we have our fun too!
Family Zone
This entire area is dedicated to, you guessed it, families! There is so much fun for kids to have in this section. We usually go together and enjoy some fun and snacks before watching practice.
Security is pretty tight here and all kids get wrist banded as activities are designated for kids.
Our daughter had a blast running the 40-yard dash with her dad, choosing a balloon design, spinning the prize wheel and sitting down for lemonade and snacks.
We generally spend 3-4 hours at training camp. This gives us enough time to watch practice, have some family fun and enjoy some good treats. It’s a win-win for everyone. This is also a great opportunity to buy any team merch before the season begins!

Family Time is Always Worth It
So why do we keep coming back to the Los Angeles Rams Training Camp every summer? It’s simple: it’s a source of joy for our family. We can’t imagine a summer without it, and we look forward to creating more memories in the years to come.
xoxo,
The Sun Queen
