If you are a parent visiting Disney California Adventure (DCA), I’m willing to bet that you are looking for fun things that the adults in the group can enjoy too. That’s why I’m here – I share the good and the bad that’s available at the parks so that you can make the best choices for your wallet and family preference! As a magic key holder my family of three is at the parks a couple times per month. There’s so much to love about Disney parks, but the options can also be overwhelming. There’s nothing like details in a blog post where you can share, forward and bookmark for later reference. My posts always reference the month and season that we visited so that it may help you with your planning. If you want to make sure that you stay up to date on our blog posts, be sure to subscribe!
Winter Visit – Monday January 15, 2024
The weather was so beautiful (high 60’s) that it only made sense for the parents to make a pre-lunch pit stop at one of our favorite places, Bayside Brews! We managed to get on about 5 rides by 11:30am (9am arrival) and so our four-year-old gal was in great spirits. While we waited in line for Jumpin’ Jelly Fish, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice cool drink at Bayside. While my daughter and I approached the front of the line, my husband headed over to order our drinks. No need for mobile order, just walked right up.
Watermelon Lime Seasonal Margarita
I knew I wanted something refreshing and had my eye on the Watermelon Lime Margarita, and boy was it delish! Talk about a perfect mid-day treat. Now consider it a treat as it costs $16 but in my opinion, it’s worth it. It’s not too strong and the flavors blend beautifully together. It offers the perfect opportunity for us parents to take in the environment and our daughter can enjoy a snack for herself. I usually pack her plenty of snacks like cheese, crackers, fruit, etc. just to make sure she’s nourished throughout the day. She usually gets to choose her treat of choice for the afternoon snack.
Variety of Drinks and Small Bites
Bayside Brews also offers a variety of other drinks to choose from. They have a great selection of craft beers, perfect for those who prefer a cold beer on a hot day. My husband ordered a craft beer, his usual go-to selection but he loves to change his order up and see what’s on tap. They also offer a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, such as lemonade and iced tea, making it a great spot for families with kids. Pretzels and other small bites are also available for order.
Location
One of the best things about Bayside Brews is its location. It’s situated right by the water, offering stunning views of Paradise Bay and the World of Color show. So not only can you enjoy a delicious drink, but you can also take in one of the most beautiful sights in the park. Perfect way to get some rest after all that walking.
Whether you’re visiting Disney California Adventure for the first time or you’re a seasoned pro, Bayside Brews is a must-visit spot. With its delicious drinks, beautiful location, and relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind during your visit.
xoxo,
